Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, a new attraction at Kennedy Space Center, explores the future of space travel while highlighting the emerging technologies that will soon make it a reality.
I designed two centerpiece digital experiences for Gateway. The Robotic Explorers wall, a large, 30-foot-wide interactive projection, presents more than 40 historic missions, each crucial to our understanding of deep space. The RL-10 interactive challenges visitors to successfully ignite a virtual rocket engine, rewarding their success with a vibrant light show emanating from a retired engine within the exhibit.
